Requests for Proposals for
Sale of Surplus Real Estate and Property
The Purchasing Department, under the direction of the Real Estate Committee for the City Council, periodically solicits proposals for the sale of surplus property owned by the City of Bristol. The Real Estate Committee currently consists of the following City Council members:

Ken Cockayne
Terry Parker
Proposed sale of properties are only made available after formal action by the City Council, authorizing the sale of designated property. Upon receipt of proposals, the Real Estate Committee reviews proposals received to determine the most appropriate disposition of the property. The Real Estate Committee is the sole body making recommendations to the City Council for disposition of such properties.
The Real Estate Committee regularly holds meetings on the third Tuesday every month at 4:30pm in the First Floor Meeting Room in Bristol City Hall, as posted in the office of the City Clerk. Click here for meeting minutes.
By clicking on the link attached to a document number, you will be allowed to retrieve the information for the relevant property sale. Please note that there may be addenda listed with the specifications; these addenda are automatically distributed to interested parties that have acknowledged receipt of the original Request for Proposals.
RFP documents typically include an acknowledgement page; this page must be faxed back to the Purchasing Department, to ensure proper notification of changes to the published specifications. The City of Bristol does not assume responsibility for any interested party that does not receive addenda or amendments, where said party has not acknowledged receipt of any portion thereof.
