The Zoning Commission is proposing amendments to the Zoning Regulations and Zoning Map to implement land use and transportation recommendations contained in the city's Route 72 Corridor Study. A web page containing information about the proposals can be accessed by clicking HERE. It contains links to the latest draft of the amendments and to maps of both current and proposed zoning in the corridor. There's also an interactive map you can link to which provides property-specific information about the changes being proposed on every affected property within the corridor.

Located in City Hall, this division provides complete administrative services for the city's five land use boards:
• Planning Commission
• Zoning Commission (also serves as the city's Aquifer Protection Agency)
• Zoning Board of Appeals
• Conservation Commission/Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency
• Historic District Commission
Services provided include receiving and processing applications, preparing legal notices, agendas, correspondence and meeting minutes, keeping the official records of the boards, and providing land use, zoning and development information to the public.
Additionally, staff provides technical expertise and administrative assistance in the update of the city's Plan of Conservation and Development and the land use regulations.
