The City of Bristol Transfer Station now accepts the following electronics:

Computer monitors, CPUs, Batteries, Air Conditioners, I pods, PDAs,MP3 players, Cell Phones, Fax Machines, CRTs, Terminals, Stereos and Radios, Toner Cartridges, Printers, Keyboards, Copiers, Telephone PBXs, Cables, VCRs, DVD Players, Medical Equipment, Modems, Mainframes, Laptops, Lab Equipment,  Inkjet Cartridges, wires and flat panel LCDs. Call 584-7791 for more information.

There is at least one Electronic Waste collection per year in the Bristol area.  Check back in the spring for the 2012 scheduled date in Bristol.

When an Electronics Waste Collection is scheduled, the following items can be brought to the collection:
Computers, monitors, televisions, cameras, phones, answering machines, DVD players, VCR's, printers, microwaves, radios, speakers, and stereos. Appliances other than microwaves, and chemical wastes are not accepted.
