Located on the ground floor of City Hall, this division performs office functions for the Public Works divisions, a total of near 150 employees and the Board of Public Works.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can contact the Administration Office at (860) 584-6125 or you can call our Public Works Information Line at (860) 584-6124 to listen to a prerecorded message to obtain information regarding our operational services.

The Administration Division prepares weekly payroll, and handles accounts payable & accounts receivable for Public Works. The Division's front desk also schedules bulk and brush pickups, and sells residential and commercial permits for the Transfer Station. Service requests also come through the Division, and are dispatched to the appropriate operations area.

In addition, Administration manages the annual Yard Waste program, facilitates rubbish barrel repairs, and handles all other general Public Works requests for service.
