On January 7, 2011, Mark Morello was promoted to the rank of Detective in the BPD. Chief DiVenere congratulates Morello after he was sworn in to his new duties by the Bristol Town Clerk. Morello has been with the department for seven years and formerly served as a K9 handler and also with the Crime Suppression Unit (CSU). He will immediately begin his new duties as a detective investigating major crimes. Family, friends, and co-workers joined Morello in the promotional ceremony. |
