Counseling Services:
Medicare Part D Counseling Services & Forms Assistance - Benefits Check ups by our Volunteer Counselor, Dino Bossi and help enrolling into the Medicare Savings Program (MSP). Staffmember Sue Bergeron is on board to help with Benefits Check-up counseling and Medicare Part D help. 860-584-7895 for appointment.
Volunteer Counselors:
Our Trained Choices Volunteer, Dino Bossi and our staff will be happy to assist you determine whether you qualify for any extra help paying for some of your medicines/medical premium and possibly your deductibles. If you are still paying the $96.40 per month Medicare Part B Premium, and make less than $1,943.12 (Single) or $2,623.64(Married), you should come in to apply for the Medicare Saving Program (MSP) which pays your part B premium. Don't wait! If you would prefer, we have the applications here in the office, just pick oone up and, if you would like, complete the application yourself. If you need help with any questions after hours, please call 2-1-1, representatives are available 24 hours a day on that line for your assistance in many matters.
Mature Driver Course - Get % off insurance
Schedule for the year - First two Thursdays of the following months:
March, April , May , June,July, August, September, October, November, December
Cost of course is $12.00 - 2 day session - 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. You must come in to Main office to sign up.
AARP Income Tax Assistance
Every Friday 8:30 - noon starting in February 5th, 2012 through April 9th, 2012. Income taxes done for seniors for free. Just come in and take a seat until you are called, Art Room #100 at the Senior Center.

Dental Clinic - Call for an appointment (860)585-3419 - We are in dire need of Volunteers to man the clinic office, please call if you are interested!
Thursdays 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Summer Hours Wednesdays & Thursdays, no Fridays)
Fridays 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. beginning in September.
Screenings & Cleanings $30.00
Check ups every 6 months.
Dental referrals to participating dentists charge on a sliding scale.
Dental forms may be picked up in the Main Office of the Senior Center.
Trips & Tours -

Congregate Meals Program - Daily at noon - fee $2.50 (60 or over)
Lunch is served Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, and the menu is in our newsletter. You must register 24 hours in advance, by calling 860-582-5928. If you bring a guest under 60, the fee is $5.00. Site manager is Michele Rochette.
Meals on Wheels Program - call Marlin "Ben" Bendickson at 860-582-5928 for criteria. Volunteers are always welcome to help deliver these meals from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Activities:
Silver Fox Fitness Room - $50.00 per year
We have 2 treadmills, 2 recumbent bikes, 1 elliptical and 1 Nu-step elliptical trainer. The room is shared with the Wii activities. Come in and check us out, join the fun, and partner with a friend. A monitor is required at all times in the fitness room.
Nintendo Wii - Games:
Come join us as a volunteer monitor or just to relax and play. We currently only have monitors on Monday at 9:30, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1:00 and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. In order to offer this program, we need more volunteers. We have bowling, baseball, golf and many other games that may be offered in the new "fitness room". Call if you would like to help or just come in to play. 860-584-7895.

TV Room & Library
We have a homelike atmosphere in our TV room and a very extensive library. You can read the local newspapers, do a jig saw puzzle or read a book. Computer also available to members.

Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Regular Hours: Open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Tuesdays until 3:00 p.m. if a volunteer is available.
Breakfast/lunch served very reasonably, Monday thru Friday, hand-made artifacts from the woodshop for sale.
Timeless Treasures Boutique-
Come in and browse and check out the "gently" used clothing, etc. at very reasonable prices. Currently, nothing priced over $10.00.
Open daily Mon. - Friday 9:00- 1:00 p.m. - Tuesdays till 3:00. (When a Volunteer is available). During July & August, limited hours. All proceeds to benefit Senior Center programs.
