Bristol Development Authority

ABOUT THE BDA

The Bristol Development Authority is governed in part by the Mayor and also by the nine-member bi-partisan Board of the Development Authority.  The Board of the Authority has the full responsibility for the Community Development Block Grant program, the Neighborhood Assistance Act, and for redevelopment activities which include the industrial park programs and downtown revitalization.  Other economic development activities, lobbying, and grants fall under the direct review of the Mayor.
