ANNUAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SNOW PLOWING OPERATIONS
The City of Bristol is seeking submissions from contractors and/or individuals with appropriate plowing equipment, that are interested in supporting snow plowing operations for the 2020-2021 season. Documents may be obtained at no charge from the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, 111 North Main Street, Bristol CT 06010, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or at the web address noted below.
Submissions will be accepted until October 9, 2020 at 3:00 pm. Submissions received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. Assignment of vehicles to the Active List will be made in sequence of date and time received, for 26 or more large vehicles greater than 24,000 GVW and up to 18 vehicles 8,000 to 23,999 GVW. Vehicles accepted after fulfillment of the Active List will be listed as reserve vehicles. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the submission, to reject any or all submissions, and to accept the submission(s) that in its judgment is in its best interest.
