On behalf of the City of Bristol, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the City of Bristol's official website! Bristol has small town values and hidden treasures. While we are probably best recognized as the home of ESPN or Lake Compounce, the oldest continuous running theme park in North America, we also are proud of our museums including the New England Carousel Museum, the American Clock & Watch Museum, the Imagine Nation Children's Museum, Bristol Military Memorial Museum, and Bristol Historical Society Museum. This is just a part of the fabric of the city known as All Heart.

Bristol loves its sports – regardless of what they are. Perhaps the best gathering of outdoor venues in New England, Bristol's vast park system includes Peck, Page, Rockwell, Brackett, Veteran's Memorial Boulevard and many more. To enjoy nature and conservation, visit the Barnes Nature Center, or Indian Rock Nature Preserve. Each year in August, Bristol hosts the Little League New England and Mid-Atlantic Regional playoffs at the Giamatti Little League Center. Bristol is also home to Muzzy Field, one of the oldest ballparks in the United States.

We are proud to have one of the best credit ratings in the State of Connecticut as Standard & Poors, Fitch and Moodys all rate our town as one of the most fiscally responsible. Bristol was ranked 84th in Money Magazine's 2010 "Best Places to Live'. In 2013, Hartford Magazine ranked Bristol as Greater Hartford's top municipality in the "Best Bang for the Buck" category. It's an exciting time for Bristol. Bristol is a great place to work, live and educate your children.

I encourage everyone to become involved in City government. One great way to get involved is to serve on one of the City's many boards or commissions. This can be personally rewarding and at the same time, vital to the City's overall success. Those interested in volunteering for a board or commission should contact the Mayor's Office directly at .

We have accomplished many great things together and my administration's continuing goal is for this website to be a useful resource to all who visit this site. We hope to do that in a comprehensive and user friendly format. This site is designed specifically for you to see how the city is continually growing. Please use this site as a way to connect with your city government and keep up to date on city issues that affect you. Get information about the services we provide; pay your tax bill, look up city meetings, sign up for city alerts and so much more. Thank you for visiting; we look forward to serving you!
