The City of Bristol is taking the necessary precautions with regard to the Coronavirus outbreak and following the protocol set by the Governor’s Office and the State Department of Public Health. This page has been established to provide the public with resources and information. We will continue to add relevant information as it becomes available, and encourage residents to focus on education along with your and your family’s safety.
City Hall has reopened, however many departments are by appointment only. Some departments request any service issues be addressed through online services. VACCINE INFORMATION-STATE OF CT
There are a couple of ways to go about receiving yours:
1. Healthcare Provider: Many residents have already been or will be contacted to schedule an appointment by their healthcare provider if their provider is participating in the state’s vaccine program. A list of providers can be found at ct.gov/covidvaccine .
2. Online: A form can be accessed online at https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/OnlineVaccine which allows individuals to schedule an appointment through the web-based Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS). More information on filling this application out is on page 13.
3. Telephone: Those without internet access can call Connecticut’s COVID Vaccine Appointment Assistance line at 877-918-2224.
4. You can sign up through Hartford Healthcare to get a vaccine at the Hartford Convention Center with this link: https://hartfordhealthcare.org/health-wellness/covid-vaccine . Or, through UCONN at this link: https://mychart.uconn.edu/mychart/Authentication/Login..
5. Local Pharmacies such as CVS and Walgreens are also offering vaccines. Contact your local pharmacy.
Local COVID Testing Sites
Whether or not you've been vaccinated, it is still important to be tested. Community Health Centers has a testing site located across from City Hall. It is open 7 days a week from 8:30am-4:00pm. Pre-registration makes the process easier. Go to: chc1.com/COVIDTEST complete the questionnaire and upon submission, you'll receive an email with a code to show the intake staff at the testing site. It's easy and it's free.

FOOD RESOURCES – OPEN TO EVERYONE
Board of Education provides meals to students up to age 18. Multi-day meals are available for pickup at BEHS and BCHS. Monday's and Wednesdays 8:am-9:30am and again from 12:45pm-1:45pm
Bristol Housing Authority – Bags of food provided through Foodshare. Call 860 286-9999 for complete schedule or visit Foodshare.org.

City of Bristol Departments Encourage Citizens use online access for City Services
What do I do if I am having symptoms? If you believe you have symptoms, call your healthcare provider. If you have other medical questions and you are unable to speak to a healthcare provider, Hartford HealthCare has established a Clinical Command Center hotline, which can be reached 24 hours a day at 860-972-8100 or (toll-free) 833-621-0600. State of CT testing sites will require two referral forms from your Primary Care Physician. State testing sites will not provide tests without these documents. If you are exhibiting symptoms, please contact your PCP first, do not go to the ER and please consider a self quarantine. If you are experiencing life threatening issues, call 9-1-1.

Connecticut Children’s new Virtual Health page is now live at www.connecticutchildrens.org/virtualhealth. Families can use this site to schedule telehealth visits for their children, read our telehealth FAQs, and learn how to prepare for a telehealth visit. As a reminder, Connecticut Children’s also has a COVID-19 pediatric hotline. Parents and pediatricians can call the number 24/7 to speak with a Connecticut Children’s clinician and ask their coronavirus questions. The hotline number is 833-226-2362.

Bristol All Heart Hotline: The Bristol All-Heart Hotline is for Bristol residents without family or others to assist with social services or additional support during this public health emergency. The phone number is: 860-584-6253. The hotline is for residents confined to their home, are elderly or at risk, people with transportation issues, families who can’t reach the School Food Distribution sites, and other situations. Individuals under these circumstances can call and leave a message with their name, phone number, email and their specific need. Issues will be reviewed and if applicable will be matched with a volunteer to assist. The city has a list of volunteers that offer assistance, however it should be noted that many returned to school and/or work so volunteers are limited. The City is still seeking volunteers.
