Sidewalk Replacement on Divinity Street

PUBLIC NOTICE

SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT

May 8, 2019

 

The
City of Bristol is scheduled to remove and replace the sidewalks located infront of your address on Divinity Street. View the map indicating the sidewalk
replacement areas here. The work is scheduled to start on Monday,May 13, 2019.

The work will consist of removing the existing sidewalk, installation of new sidewalk, and loaming and seeding the areas disturbed. Please note the following:

1.    The lawn area located
approximately 1.5 feet on each side of the walk will be excavated/disturbed aspart of the project, however, as indicated, the area will be loamed and seeded.

2.    When the work is
being done in front of your property, there will be no access to driveways forapproximately 3 days.

3.    Mailboxes may be
temporary disturbed; however, they will be reset to maintain delivery ofmail.  If mail is not delivered, please
contact the City immediately to resolve the issue. 

4.    The lawn areasdisturbed during construction will be loamed and seeded.  Property owners are encouraged to water the
areas to promote growth of grass.

5.    Properties with lawnsprinklers located within the City’s roadway right of way (along the road and
walk) shall notify the City prior to the start of work and shall removesprinklers from the project work area (1.5 feet surrounding walk).  Please note that the City is not responsible
for the damage of sprinklers in the referenced area.


Oncework commences, it will take approximately 3 weeks to complete the majority of
the work.  

Additional notification will be forthcoming if there are revisions to the proposed project scope or schedule. On behalf of the City I apologize for any inconvenience this project may cause and would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.
