Outdoor Recess Equipment Donation Drive

While undergoing your Spring cleaning efforts, please keep a lookout for gently-used outdoor recess equipment.

The Public Works Department visited Bristol Public Schools for Read Across America Day, and noticed the kids playing with a deteriorating soccer ball. As a result, Public Works will be holding a collection drive for gently-used outdoor recess equipment for Bristol Public Schools. Donation items will be divided up depending on the need for the equipment. Footballs, Basketballs, Soccer Balls, and Frisbees would be a perfect start now that the weather is getting warmer for recess.

Let's keep reusable items out of the trash and help the kids in our Bristol school system at the same time!

You can drop off donated items during the months of March and April. Donations can be brought to the Public Works Department at City Hall (111 North Main Street) Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are located on the ground floor.
