Voting Machine Audit

Secretary of the State Mark Kohler randomly chose 37 voting precincts from the August 2022 primary election to have their machine totals audited. There were also 15 alternate precincts chosen in case the primary chosen precincts cannot be audited for any reason.

Chosen for Bristol is Mtn View School
The audit will be held in Conference Room A at City Hall East (150 Main St.)
State law mandates that 5% of all voting precincts have their machine totals audited following any election or primary. There were a total of 732 voting precincts used during the primary held on Tuesday August 9, 2022. Once the municipalities and corresponding districts are identified by a lottery conducted by the Secretary of the State, the offices on the ballot that will be subject to the audit are chosen by the municipal clerk.”
