The Board of Public Works, at it's 8/16/12 meeting, approved holding a Public Hearing to discuss proposed rates for Residential Users of the Transfer Station's PAYT program. The meeting will be held at 5:30 PM on September 20th, 2012 in the First Floor Meeting Room, just prior to the Board of Public Works Meeting. The proposed rate for Residential (Commercial rates not set yet) disposal is as follows: No charge for Antifreeze, Leaves, Oil, Fluorescent Bulbs, Electronics and Metal. If Chargeable items are mixed with non-chargeable material - the load will be chargeable. The first 200 lbs free for 1st visit per day. $0.45/10 lbs for all others.
