Self-service kiosk now open

Public Works is pleased to announce that there is now a self-service computer kiosk available outside of the Public Works office where residents may make payments to renew Pay-As-You-Throw permits, add funds to their Pay-As-You-Throw accounts and pay for other Public Works services. The kiosk is located on the Ground Floor of City Hall.
The Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) program was implemented in June 2011. Under PAYT, residential Transfer Station permits are issued for a period of five years. Permits issued in 2011 are expiring this year. Public Works expects over 4,000 permits are due to expire by year end. Residents are encouraged to verify their expiration date before their next visit to the Transfer Station as an expired permit will not allow access to the Transfer Station.
Pay-As-You-Throw Permit renewals are $40.00 for five years when renewed online, or $50.00 for five years when renewed in person at the Public Works office in City Hall. Instructions for renewing Residential Permits online are available at
