Bristol residents only. Please bring your I.D. Bring up to 4 boxes of household paper and electronic devices to be shred. The City of Bristol Public Works Department is partnering with Bristol Public Library to help you protect your personal information - safely dispose of unwanted paperwork and personal electronic devices like cell phones, tablets, and computers at this free community event.

Electronic items may be disposed of at the Bristol Farmer’s Market, every Saturday, June through October (exact dates to be announced), from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Farmer’s Market is located across the street from City Hall.

The Public Works Department also has a collection box for cell phones to be recycled. We are located at 111 North Main Street, on the Ground Floor. You may drop off cell phones during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
